Navigating Systems – Future Work

Navigating Systems is a planned participatory artwork exploring the systems we encounter and move through in everyday contemporary life.

The proposed work brings together public participation, movement, material experimentation and collaborative making in a beach setting.

A participant in paint-marked clothing stands beside a large white fabric panel during the Navigating Systems activity.

Participants will explore movement, tension, navigation and collective interaction through paint, fabric and large-scale participatory structures.

Four fabric panels covered with colourful route-like marks hang beneath the arches at Staunton Country Park.
A fabric panel marked with intersecting coloured lines hangs beneath a stone arch, with trees beyond.
A row of fabric panels bearing colourful route-like marks hangs between pollarded trees in the park.
Participants stand facing a row of painted fabric panels outdoors at Staunton Country Park.

This is planned as future work. Dates and arrangements will be confirmed as the project develops.
