Signatures for Authorship

Mud Hands: take a look at the one page summary

Developed as part of Tracing Systems, where authorship is distributed across participants through structured engagement.

Recording Authorship through physical contact.

Each print is made with site material, so the signature and the work share the same substance. The hand acts as both tool and recording device.

Every imprint is unique—formed through pressure, movement and residue—producing a direct record of presence. The hand replaces the written name.

These prints operate as material signatures, capable of standing alongside the work as evidence of authorship.

Phase 2: Co-Authored Torus Sculptures
